Just make sure you watch past the singing...

If you read Nie, chances are you've already seen this video. If you missed it, well, it's too good not to share. Weird, wild stuff, I tell you.

No kidding! I couldn't believe this! The only place you see stuff like this now is at Cirque de Soleil or similar.

I read NieNie too and saw it there. I totally don't get how those women can be so flexible. It is definitely freaky. I actually had to stop watching before it was over because I was grossed out.

I think you should work on this after you have your baby. It would make great entertainment for a ward party. You could take it on tour around the stake. Or you could visit our ward for a meeting formerly known as enrichment and teach everyone. :-)

Ooh, and your show could be even better than theirs because you could add in some violin. You know, start out like they do with (almost) normal singing and a little violin playing. Then move into the freakishly flexible stuff and for the grand finale you can do a backbend under your legs and then stay down there to play one last violin song. You are going to be so famous.

I'm on it, Ellie. Look for me in your local cultural hall at your next ward party.

By the way, Ellie, can you add me to your list of readers on your blog? I'd love to peruse!

Ok, I have a more serious comment this time. It's interesting how all the adults think this video is so grotesque. My girls can't get enough of it. Sarah and Emily have watched it 4 times in the last hour. Emily commented that she thought it was bad for you, but Sarah corrected that "it's not bad for you, you just have to be older, but not as old as Mom and Dad. . . . And you have to be REALLY flexible." She totally takes it for what it is. They are really flexible and really strong. Why do we, as adults, think it's so bizarre? Hmm.

Seriously? I can't believe this video? I really agree with Ellie. I would fly back to VA to see you perform this with of course the violin added.
Thanks for sharing...I think?
